IST: How does your team at IST work together to solve problems?
Amanda: Being flexible is important, stepping up to fix issues even if they aren’t yours to fix, bouncing ideas off one another- it helps to have creative and innovative people working around you!
IST: What do you believe was the key contributing factor to being recognized as Employee of the Quarter?
Amanda: My job is to plan for the events as well as maintain them, and as well all know, sometimes things don’t go as planned. I think the factor this year was just keeping a clear and focused mind and not letting the changes and mishaps shape the success of the event.
IST: What advice would you give other employees seeking to be awarded Employee of the Quarter?
Amanda: To stay positive and focused, always plan ahead as much as possible when you can- there is absolutely no substitute for genuine preparation!
