The SMART program is a web-based training module used at IST for training in our customer service roles. SMART furthered our knowledge and perspectives on a wide variety of topics by making us think about what we wanted to accomplish while here at Robinson + Cole and then looking at the challenges we face and how we are going to overcome them.
The tools taught in the program help us with the ever-changing legal environment and gave us best practices to use. While SMART tutorials do not directly pertain to site-specific tasks, the SMART training module has increased quality in customer service, which are shown in the customer feedback received. The client comment cards we receive back are positive across the board when handling any type of job or task.
SMART training is administered by, IST’s Director of HR, Jay LaFont, and takes place within IST-Suite. Jay will send a quiz out and the answers are found by watching the various training videos regarding each subject. Once a quiz is completed, Jay will grade and send out the next module.
